The new 2017 Honda NSX has made its world debut for quite some time, and now there's great news.
Production has just begun on the first all-new NSX, to be delivered to its first customer.
The car showcases the best Honda could offer in both performance and technology. At a glance this new NSX is IMMENSE. It gets AWD ability, 3 electric motors, a compact 3.5-litre V6, twin turbocharged, capable of 573hp and 646 Nm of torque.
This new NSX is no longer the pure NA supercar-chaser. it is a car to be treated with respect and is potentially the next supercar-slayer.
McLaren-Honda F1 driver, Fernando Alonso has taken the car out on Estoril circuit.
According to the double F1 world champion, driving a supercar like the NSX is still intimidating and requires similar driving techniques even when performance in comparison isn't as high as a Formula 1 car.
Alonso stated that, while high precision is needed to gain an advantage in F1 racing, driving the NSX however is more tame and enjoyable, allowing the F1 star play and explore within the car's limit.
It is always entertaining to see people get uncomfortable and excited at the same time when they are sitting in a passenger seat of a performance car driven at full speed by a professional racing driver.
Watch the video below to see Alonso do what he does best with the car, while the passenger chuckles as he brakes hard into corners and slides the car through the exits.
