<p>While the blistering heat from our own TIMETOATTACK at Sepang International Circuit has yet to wear off, another urgent assignment called us in again to SIC, but this time this is not Sepang. Covering Team FXPrimus Aylezo's progress in the 2013 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series, the first race takes us all the way behind the Bamboo Curtains of Shanghai International Circuit. So with a quick prep and very little rest, the thousand-kilometer journey to the People’s Republic of China begins. <!--more--> <a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/clouds.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54702" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/clouds-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p>After catching up with the much-needed rest in the full-day journey and a bit more at the hotel, the team was all set to begin their quest in conquering the fastest one-make series race in the world, but there are tonnes of preparation to be done.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0417.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54722" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0417-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0421.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54703" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0421-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4854.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54696" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4854-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>First things first, the car FXPrimus Aylezo will be running in had been hibernating for quite some time, thus an extensive check and service is needed to ensure the Gallardo Super Trofeo is in an all-good shape to run in this weekend’s race. So upon arriving at the Shanghai International Circuit, the work began as soon as they reached the pits.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4871.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54699" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4871-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4859.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54698" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4859-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>And since the car was run by a different team before, it was still bearing the previous team’s livery and sponsor stickers, which means that a de-stickering process is also in need.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_04851.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54719" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_04851-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4879.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54701" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4879-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4873.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54700" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4873-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>While the skinning of the Bull was taking place, the mechanics went straight to work and dissected the 560-horsepower baby Lambo off its hood, bumpers, flooring and spoiler. But it seems that returning the car to racing condition is just one part of the job in line as the Gallardo Super Trofeo right here will be fitted with the new aerokit, just like all the other Gallardos entering the Super Trofeo Series this year.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0423.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54718" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0423-600x400.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="400" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4881.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54679" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4881-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>Dubbed as the FL2 GT3, Lamborghini claimed to have increased the aerodynamic efficiency up to 120% and shaving off 25kg over the 2012 model. The new kit also gives a 50% improvement in thermal performance through the re-modeled brake ducts that cool down the front brakes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4904.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54681" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4904-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4910.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54682" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4910-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4960.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54689" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4960-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>But as for the meantime, the aerokit has yet to make its way to the circuit, so everyone was limited to the maintenance of the car for the time being. Team FXPrimus Aylezo also did the same, with the additional task of restoring the car back to its gleaming condition.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4912.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54683" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4912-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4893.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54680" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4893-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4935.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-54685" src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_4935-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>Although it first looked like a time-consuming process, it did not take long before the car was clean and spotless, thanks to a fair amount of WD40 and some polishing wax.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0645.jpg"><img src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0645-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p>Coming up next was customizing the seat for Zen to fit into his optimal driving position. Since the seat from the previous racer was a bit large and the pedals needing quite a reach, they needed to make a foam seat to boost the driving position.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_5109.jpg"><img src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_5109-600x398.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="398" /></a></p>
<p>By mixing two compounds together and filling it between the gaps needed for a comfortable driving position, the custom-made foam seat was done just in time for them to call it a day.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0579.jpg"><img src="http://www.zerotohundred.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/DSC_0579-600x399.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="399" /></a></p>
<p>But everyone was definitely looking forward for tomorrow as that is when the Gallardo will undergo its most outrageous transformation. We will be back for more updates from Team FXPrimus Aylezo at Shanghai, so please stay tuned!</p>

<div>Team FXPrimus Aylezo would like to extend their greatest appreciation to everyone who had helped in making this journey possible, especially FXPrimus, JH Italia, Ecotint, Ninetology, Fuchs Titan, TACTIX and Motorsport Playground.</div>

I'm driving a 4g13p, budget RM 100 (RM 150 max). I don't know which to choose. I saw there are 2 type, the other type look like muffler. Go for which? the one look like muffler or the thinner one?
