India has suddenly boomed in Formula One value having little more than viewership just a few years ago. Currently, the nation can lay claim to its own Formula One team in Force India and two drivers in the form of Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok.

The natural thing to do after that would be to host its own race, which will be so later this year once the Buddh International Circuit is up and running...
