this opinion from me is surely not creditable but i would choose between the new Navara and Ranger for their comfort compared to the rivals.

on a side note, i was literally SMOKED and overtook by the new Navara at 150kph. not once but 2 different occasions on PLUS highway. not that i advocate speeding but that shows something about the confidence Navara drivers harvest from their mothertruckers

for backseat room. I vote for ranger base on my size. I tried both before.

if your offroad is just normal kebun with flat tanah merah road then 2wd is more than enough.
if you want to go for abit more adventure then u will need 4wd.
u want more extreme then find one which have diff lock function.
you can also forget about shining bodywork.
torque and traction matters a lot during offroad.oh wait...driver skill comes first.

durability...
what model of pickup do you see the most at cameron highland?

comfort does not exist in any vehicle which has 4x4 system or built on 4x4 platform which is design for offroad.
well...range rover might be an exception.
Better buy Subaru XV than a 2WD pick up..unless you need the loading bed.

with pickup, the position of the weight is critical.
closer to the rear axle, the better.
