Hello,

not sure if this belong to here, please help to post to the correct channel.

I have a small car, proton savvy manual.
I did a change of clutch bearing and clutch while it hit 150k.

now at 170k, the clutch is kinda noisy during idle.
once I step the clutch, the noise will go off.

is it that the clutch bearing is gone?
what happen if I don't change the clutch bearing?
will it cause the car to break down or unable to change gear?

labor fee is expensive as I was told not easy to change savvy clutch or its bearing..

Iam with lsm1991,

When we depress the clutch, the bearing will function and rotate the whole clutch assembly without the clutch pad. I believe whether its a pull or push type, its the same concept. Bearing will function when the clutch depress only.

Dear All,

im driving as the car on my signature. i shall need to do a full car wiring as my current wirings are all condem. wiring should include custom fuse and relay box as my original has been cut in half and able to connect to my car after-market ECU Microtec ECU. i need a rough cost that i need to fork out to do this replacement. Im afraid of cases like people quote me RM5k for wiring and after car is done they plus more hidden charges that will cost me RM15k.
