i would compare pp2 with ventus v8. after using a pair of pp2, i only go for the ventus now. running on the 3rd pair. so far so good.

S1 evo should be higher level than the pp2 :)

I;m on my 4 change of PP2, never regret it, stick like glue in rain or shine.... But must match the characteristic of the car. if you doing 160KM to 180KM good enough.

One pair last me around 38K KM....:driver:

i am using 225/45/18 S1 Evo on 2008 camry
the dry grip is good. wet is average. but the noisy level went up soon after 10,000 km, tread life accept, presume able to last about 40K km.
going up genting mountainous corner, the grip is positive.
get it ablr rm 530 per piece. worth a try.

pp2 i heard it is more quiet, no sure abt it.

jz another experience to share

Hankook V12 bit noisy for family ride but with Traction AA...I believe it will stick like glue, rain or shine

Hi,

jus 4 sharin, since I m now on S1 Evo & i have tried both PP2 as well as V12......

I think V12 is a bit weak in terms of hydroplaning/aquaplaning in comparison with S1 evo & PP2.

As for daily street driving(dry), they are somewhere about the same.....even at speed of 160~180km/h......

But when it comes to wet condition(heavy rain storm with puddles of water)......this is wat i encountered:

PP2 -> maintain 90~110km/h -> able to drive thru confidently w minimum swerving 2 left/right
V12 -> slow down to 70~90km/hr -> still swerving left/right
S1 Evo -> maintain 90~110km/h -> able to drive thru confidently w minimum swerving 2 left/right

Thus, V12 doesnt fit e requirement which i m lookin 4 in a tyre - a good ability to resist hydroplaning/aquaplaning while maintaining a sportly drive............

:biggrin:
