His old setup was good for 8.9 sec pass with 10 mph headwind, it posted a standing mile time of 216 mph... his new setup posted a 221 mph.

Yea we know that...Mike Reichen's car previously belonged to Devotuning is still the quickest uni body 1st gen evo in the world ( Evo 2) at 8.7 sec pass 2 years ago...

Spoke to him then and at that time I couldn't even run a low 10 sec pass..

It has now been rebuilt as a car with different purpose, quickest evo ( top speed ) in the world.. runs a Borg Warner s374 turbo that made over 1k to the wheels...

But very odd that it is probably one of the one ones in US, not in Japan or Australia..

sometimes its not exactly true that they dish out attitude to ppl out rightly, I no rich dude, but whenever I have questions to visit them; either toby or thomas are kind enough to walk me through a bit, albeit they can be abit cheeky at times hehe

anyways, like sdf said earlier on....why there has been so much pointing towards GT, its also plain simple for me.....even 1 of the other tuner shop boss been asking me...y the heck nowadays when economy is bad and whole sunway seems liek ghost town, but yet GT bizness is still strifing ?? hahaha go figure dat

as for the GT flaming... thats the whole point about this post... its not to promote GT or the 8.9 sec car... or even to convince people that its a malaysian built, tuned and set up.. its to get a point out that we as malaysians can do it... like i said in my earlier posts.. if R engineering or any other competitor does a better run.. we'd all be happy about it..

They couldn't have done it without a guy that can really cook... not only he cooks.. he uses special lubricant on the EVOIII... he uses ghee fr the rear diff oil... and potato fried fat for fuel.. so screw all u methanol users... engine oil was extracted from whale fats...

for my personal view .....my mech is very close with Toby N Thomas n they work along... n he saw the building of the siver bullet in GT ....he only had 1 thing to say its a damn powerfull n well setup car ...he event said if ME6 gets a tubeframe done for the car he can give the thai cars a run for their time .... i believe this car will clock low 8 sec or maybe can break the 7sec mark in the next round ....imagine if ME6 gets a tubeframe done n uses his NOS what will be the timing
im currently in melbourne n i dont see what is so fast about the cars here ......... only the rotary engines they are more advance n clocking lower time ....4,6 cylinders malaysia is clocking better time ....
