Hmm dude no need to confuse ... It's a family car ... Heavy, stable on high way ... Sluggish Automatic mated with either 1.6 or 1.8 liter twin cam engine ... 1.6 making 118hp 6400 rpm when 1.8 making 128hp at 5600 rpm ... Ride quality is comfort enough for taking kids and taking yourself to point A to point B ... Not really suitable for young and spirited driver ...

actually u still can use it as a high speed performance cruiser, by swapping automatic to LSD, ported its head and it can produce remarkable power. But in stock condition, Sentra is pretty good in comfort, sound proofing and reliable engine. The best part is its the one of the spacious 1.6 u can find in the market.

Well, there are a few options of SR engines you can choose

1. SR16VE
2. SR20VE
3. SR20DET
4. SR20VET (If you can find, or just BOT onto a SR20VE)
5. Custom SR22VET (SR20VET custom rebored to 2200cc...something KSR Speed is doing now)

Power ? Its up to your tuner.

Every car has a different way of appreciation and it's capability. For a tuned up Sentra, its a good everyday car with added kick once transplanted with powerful engine. Still almost every aspect as in comfort and quality and affordablity, it beats other car makes in 1.6 - 1.8 class.

We have campaigned Nissan Sentra's at Racetracks stateside since the 1990's and they are cheapest to maintain and modify as far as the B13 and B14 SE-R's that are sold in the U.S.

Cheapest bang for the buck cars

Aftermarket is plenty for the SR series engines if you decide to swap in an SR motor.

i'm now currently using a JDM B13 Sentra SuperSaloon in the Philippines running an all stock GA16DE engine with non lsd tranny with just suspension, brakes, chassis Upgrades with sticky Federal Tires and it is pretty competitive at the Circuit track RWYB Series at Subic Raceway in Bracket B, C, D and E classes.

Internal Engine mods for the GA and SR series motors can be found at JIM WOLF TECHNOLOGY, INC. / NISSAN PERFORMANCE / NISSAN RACING /INFINITI PERFORMANCE or www.Gspec.om
