fyi, B14 and B13 front are identical, so B13 no need engine mod, so as B14.. the reason why some need to mod cause they use the wrong engine mount when install into the car.

SR20 naturally aspirated in a U13 chassis reporting in...

Daily drive, daily thrashing, long distance running... so far so good, touch wood. 187k kms, 11 years and counting.

Weikee..
Have you seen the b13 and b14 side by side..
the engines and components are the same, but the engine bays dimension wise are different..
Maybe some mech can drop a sr20 into a b14 without modding the mounts..
But so far the b14's modded i've seen all had their mountings modded..

What car are you driving now bro?

depend what you want do, and what 1/2 cut you have..

If you have u13 / u12 / w10 / P10 SR20de (or det), than you need to source for SR18 B13 (or B14 version), get the timing chain side engine mount, and also the mount bracket (on the engine side). If can, all the mount..less hassle

Than you need to know what g.box you are using. Cable or Hydraulic, with or without LSD. than the drive shaft have to be custom made (if your 1/2 cut are u12, u13, p10, w10. If B13 or B14 SR18 g.box than no need)

lots more things you need to consider.. thats why you better go to SR transplant expert...

For stronger engine mount, i'll advice you to change it to PU mount.

Congrats on your transplant. Yeah, which model's gearbox you are running on?

Anyway, the soft spot for the HNU13's SR20DET (AWD) would be the autobox. And I'm talking about the factory fitted auto gearbox on HNU13s.
Getting a Manual for the HNU13 is as hard as finding a needle in a haystack. Very hard to come across.
Anyhow, it'll good if you can source out the manual FWD box from FWD H/P/S-U13. Some versions do come with manual.

Weikee:

my gearbox is actually from a fwd sr20de.

Haha.. where on earth am i going to find that?
