Default Need advise frm Evo Guru's...

Hi,

im planning to get an Evo either Ori or Converted as long as its within my budget (60K below).

1) My qestion to the Sifu's are what is the major concern about Ori Evo's compare to Converted type?

2) Can an Ori CM2A RWD able to withstand the force of a 4G63T? Do it still need to cut and modify the rear bottom or shaft (sorry ive little knowledge about evo's)?

3) What sort of common problem should i look into before purchasing the converted cars?

4) I'll plan to thrash a bit of the car and will the chassis last? will the rear wheel welding area give way easily?

5) How to know whether is the whole gear still in a reasonable condition?

6) Lastly, the seller mentioned it wont have any difficulties with JPJ on the 4WD since its an Ori 4WD and will there be any forsee problem with Insurance company when claiming for such converted Evo's?

Really appreciate if someone could advise.

Thank you.

converted and ori different is not much in price. if its ori 4WD chassis then no prob with jpj...but if CK2A chassis, u might get rejected by puspakom later during name transfer. anyway there are ppl able to get approval on anything....just pay the way thru...about technical advice...must seek some sifus here...me onli know bout procedures & documentations...bump!

Thanks for sharing, but the converted Evo is a CM2A Ori Lancer 4WD...Do CM2A still need to cut its rear base plate to put in the Ori Evo 4WD?

Lastly,is the converted Evo's will face any insurance claim problem if in the event there any accident?
