Default [WTA] Tyre size for Laser Lynx

Hi guys, thanks to those last time who helped me with my car's problem sometime back. Topic got deleted but it involved unsteady idle and poor FC. In fact things got so bad that it was misfiring badly. Tunrs out the distributor which also contains the Hall Effect crank angle sensor was damaged and in the process damaged my ECU. Total cost was about RM700/= inclusive of labour (HAlfcut distributor and repaired ECU)

Now my FC improved alot until I've managed to achieve 130km using RM15 of petrol at constant 110km/h.

My main question now is if I change to 16", what's the correct rim dimension and compatible tyre size for it?

friend..your FC is still not very good. your car is a 1.6 right?
i think the tire shop will know what size is suitable for your car. so no worries.

Nope, it's a 1.8 auto. So mileage seems to be ok for now since the engine's never been overhauled and approaching 100k km mileage soon. Using Catrol Magnatec 10-40W for now

What do you meant by repaired ECU?...
What is wrong with the ECU and how was it fixed? Or how to identify which part of the ECU to fix?

Two capacitors located on the right side of the ECU's PCB (If you're looking from the ECU's connectors) got damaged. Both were giving erratic current readings. Resoldered with new capacitors and it was back to normal. The damage this time was obvious as the legs showed burnt marks actually. The problem with the ECU was erratic ignition timings until constant misfiring and frequent engine dying down at the traffic lights when in Drive. Suspected that cos called Ford Kepong service centre and they said to check both the distributor and the ECU. This explains why for BP-4W, the cam angle sensor was changed from the Hall Effect based to a magnetic based

Actually I didn't get Ford to check it for me. I just called the centre and explained the scenario, so they gave me the potential cause itself. The rest my foreman checked it out for me
