Two capacitors located on the right side of the ECU's PCB (If you're looking from the ECU's connectors) got damaged. Both were giving erratic current readings. Resoldered with new capacitors and it was back to normal. The damage this time was obvious as the legs showed burnt marks actually. The problem with the ECU was erratic ignition timings until constant misfiring and frequent engine dying down at the traffic lights when in Drive. Suspected that cos called Ford Kepong service centre and they said to check both the distributor and the ECU.
