sorry mate u will need a 3 way xover to play 3 way active, u only have 2 way xovers currently.

for 3 way system, separate amp channels for tweeter, mids and sub, u will need a xover that can do bandpass for the mids. bandpass means both highpass and lowpass for mids.

tweeter - highpass
mids - highpass + lowpass
sub - lowpass

in the mean time, u will have to use back the passive xover from your component set, use only 2ch from the amp, use front highpass. maybe u can upgrade your HU to a unit that has inbuilt 3 way xover like some alpines and pioneers.

Default Re: Need help setting frequency

there are 2 types of 3 way:

tipu 3 way = actually is 2.1 way only, because it only does Front/Rear/sub
front highpass
rear highpass
sub lowpass

real 3 way will be High/Mid/Low:
front highpass
rear highpass
rear lowpass
sub lowpass

so u can check again, if the mid or rear section has both highpass and lowpass, then u can play 3 way active (tweeter/mids/subs). if not u have to play 2 way passive (fronts/sub).
