How capable is the Turbocharged Alpha 1.5 Engine?
Cause my mechanic is offering a free engine.

ermm not much...i mean in terms of engine ok laa...dont expect much, i cant eat a gsr turbo with this engine... in term of pick up...u can go with proton 1.8 gti....but top end, sadly i have to say u can go up up until 180km but i have doubt about its going until 200 without any problem(not yet tested though hehehe). im running at 1.4 bar sometimes....but it wont feel that much as i have a leaking turbo...but bear this in mind, if u r planning to use a recond or second hand stuff for the maintenance of this car, than better leave it. i have change the drive shaft (both side) 4 times in 3 years. 1 time i bought new, others i just repair it.

ps: would you mind asking your mech to sell me the engine... as i need it for my sparepart, i mean i really really need it especially the drive shaft and turbocharger. PLZZZZZZZZ....

Well, since my current N/A 1.5 engine almost dying .... :( have to change also le... anyway, what parts from my old engine still can be used for my turbo engine?

oo i c...ermm i dont think any of it can be use except the spark plug cable. hehe... do u mind checking for me what is the turbine attached to the engine? i got a garret tc03 to mine.
