It really depends on how dirty your system is. Normally when I flush my brakes I will keep going around all 4 corners until the fluid that comes out of the brake hose is clear yellow. Most of the time I need 2 big bottles of Bosch DOT 4 to do that.

Agree with Izso. For the best result, empty the entire brake system clean of the old fluid. Then only proceed to fill and bleed with new fluid.

ya bro, from the reservoir the lines will go to the proportional valves to split the system..

If empty the whole system, need to bleed the masterpump and also back and front of the car??

i thought izso , jus fill and bleed only?

ya bro, i done my bleeding dy last time using the same method like izso which is fill and bleed..
but nyantung said empty the whole system before pouring the new brake oil??

my doubt here is ,if the reservoir and the brake line empty , u need to bleed the masterpump first rite before bleeding each wheel of the car..??

No need to empty the whole thing la. That will introduce too much air into the system. Best to keep it filled (the reservoir) at all times and bleed both front and back evenly.

One large bottle of DOT4 isn't expensive. Buy 2.

Depends. How old is your brake servo? What car do you drive? And when was the last time you changed your brake fluid?

Brake servos are wear and tear and need to be serviced after a while. A broken seal inside the servo will result in bad pedal pressure

Some cars have weak firewalls so after a long time the servo starts to flex the firewall whenever you press the pedal resulting in bad pedal pressure too.

Old oil that's oxidised will result in bad braking and overheating (read : no brakes) so get that changed out regardless.
