Default mivec help

hi new to mivec .. just put it in and need some help
seem to be having some problems with mivec after awhile.
Engine light comes on.. blinking once.. then stays on solid .. idling became rough at start up before warming up.. loss of power.. huge backfires can be heard when slowing down and no mivec activation

can sumone help me rectify this problem ?
can it be:
-a faulty map sensor?
-dirty mivec solenoid? - how do you remove and clean it?
-loose connectors?- which wire mainly to check?

hope i do now need to rebuild engine
please help
thnx

check with a experience foreman.
the error code can obtain via the OBD socket below ur dashboard.
If DIY simply use a led to do the trick but u need to know which 2 pin to short it.
if u know the error code then, read the code fault and change the sensor that faulty.

ok, try this before u go to seek advise from your foreman,
have a look at your air flow, try to disconnect the socket and gosok2 abit, then try to insert it back, disconnect the batt for about 10min(reset ecu) and connect it back, try to start the engine.

it could be the oil sump danted or the engine oil clog and the engine oil could not return. The oil pressure are extremely low and it could end up overhauling the engine.

this thing happend maybe bcoz of ur throttle body.... when the idle is low than normal the engine light will occur....idling increase when start up is normal actually coz the engine is cold.... try check ur ECU also.... but i think most probably bcoz of throttle body.... maybe the sensor or idling control got error....

Do u check on O2 sensor already?
Back fire can be running too lean. ( example, down hill without pressing the fuel pedal with high RPM )
or misfiring.
1st, I think u need to check all the wiring and sensor connection like ignition, O2, throttle position etc.

After that, plug in OBD MUT checking on sensor functioning. should help.
