Car Registration Transfer Issue

During my college time, my dad bought me an old mazda for me to drive to study and it is registered under my name. After graduate, i rarely used the car any more because driving my dad's car plus the old mazda giving lots of problem such as brake fluid leaking and hard to start. The old mazda just being left there outside my house. During year 2002, some guy who is interested with my dad old antique SAAB bought the SAAB and decide to buy the old mazda as well. Sold it for less then 400 and a normal written purchase agreement was signed. The buyer also promise to do the name transfer later on. So i rest my case on the old mazda.

However recently when i check for summon online using my ic no, and i saw the old mazda had a RM200 summon for traffic light offence during april this year. Surprisingly, the buyer didn't make the name transfer as promised.

The problem get even worst when i try to look for the agreement with the buyer contact attached on it and my dad told me he threw it away during cleaning up the room. So i can't contact the buyer to settle the problem.

I want to release the ownership on the car to free from any responsibility. Who knows later the car end up killing people on the road and i have to go for jail because im still the owner.

Guys, your advise on what should i do next is very much appreciated.

For any people who so happen to know the current owner for my old maza with car registration number BAL 610 which i can only recall was a malay guy came from kuang, please ask him to look for me to do the name transfer plus he can claim the RM 625 after roadtax renewal else if i deregistered the car. He would be able to use the car anymore.
