Default Honda Civic 2.0 i-VTEC - Fuel Distribution

Dear All,

I have several questions pertaining to my car , Honda Civic 7th Gen
2.0 i-VTEC version -Year 2005.

1.0 - Spark Plugs
What is the right spark plugs to use ?

2.0 - Fuel Distribution
During heavy rainny days, there is a jerk from undercarriage .
The exhaust sound like hitting the under chassis with a stopage
in fuel distribution. Is there anyone encuonter this problem ?

3.0 - Gear Engagement Locking Sound
From shifting gear position from " P " to " R " , there is sound
like twisting gear . Anyone face this problem ?

Hope to hear from those who are facing the similar problems.

Thanks, Nick

hi Overboost..

I am not clear about ur reply. Do you mean any HKS brand will do ? or there is any specifi version to use ? I am not sure as they said this 7th Gen is running on timing chain and the iginition is a little bit different. About the gear engagement, can you elaborate more details ?

Your car is only three years old. If you are not a modder (or maybe a mild modder),

send it back to the manufacturer (or maybe authorised service centre)

You dont put HKS plugs and expect something different.
Every mod goes with another. (maybe Im wrong , really?)

try check if urs car is using iridium or platinium plugs now, if not using either. then ngk or denso iridium will do, kindly visit their website n looks for ur car model in order to get the correct heat range for your ride. if u r lazy/not sure how to check, remove ur current spark plug n check its heat range. then u get the same heat range or colder(if ur car mod oledi) to perform better.

for the gear, check the atf if in sufficient amount or sent it to workshop for inspection during ur service.

jerk from udercarriage? wat mean? i cant get u
