Hi All,

Need help from all of you. My block finally RIP after 230km
my question is

1. Overhaul my current block 4G92 Sohc
2. Get a halfcut block 4G92 SOHC/Dohc
3. Get a halfcut block 4G93 SOHC/Dohc

btw sitting on top of my current block is a 4G93 head Dohc using my Sohc ECU wiring

Please advice

What i did was, use a 4g93 DOHC head with 4g93 DOHC ECU wiring with 4g92 MIVEC block. I found out that i revved better but only worry u gotta have is valve hitting the piston. thats all.

if u look for budget, just go for 4G93 SOHC. a very good fuel consumption engine.
u might also look for 4G92 DOHC engine as this engine come with 11.0 compression ratio ( mivec is too expensive already ), no need go to rojak this and there. Original engine set up will be the best for street use as we are not the engine designer/ engineer.

but 4g93 block with 4g93DOCH head thus 4g92 wiring...
u will be headache in setting... and the engine will off easilly while driving...if these problem solve... all i can say its good luck with your FC...
I am now using 4g93 SOHC block and auto wiring with 4G91 GB and 4g91 head...
FC very good...near to 30cents / km... normal drive, changing gear not reaching to 3krpm...
If u feel its ok with this FC thus the roadtax if u want to go for inspection...then...

Looks like your engine consume more fuel compared to most 2.0L turbos :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:

Have you found out the reason why your block RIP?
My personal suggestion would be to go for 93 block as I believe bigger replacements will always give you better advantages and since theres a good reason for you to change your block, then might as well just go for the better one. Just my opinion though :)

This is the reason y I mention there good FC...hahaha...
planing to change to 2.0 turbo already... hehehe,...:shades_smile:

hehe make sure u can register with JPJ man...many got stuck and had to convert back to below 2.0L engine :regular_smile:
