My heart just ache when I see the scars. I myself have experienced the pain of cheap double sided tape but not the drill holes. What is FRP by the way? Sorry if its a noob question.

Good job on a very informative article! I'll definitely keep this in mind when I'm looking for my body kit.

make sure u monitor when they install the bodykit and not leave for tea. if not they might just slack and not do a good job then you would need to complain and go back there. its a waste of time and petrol!

Don't worry, I always watch my car like a hawk! :)
I often even butt in to get my hands dirty when dealing with cars as I used to do small service/repair on my own (but not anymore due to getting older and not having the time anymore).

Btw even if the material is PU or ABS, if the installer is not carefull then it will also be as bad right? If the material is fiber but the precision is good and the installer is very carefull then it might not be as bad, is it?

hrrmmm....I might have to agree with that. It's more likely be and mainly due to workmanship as oppose to material. That's the main reason why I ventured into DIY (as far as I'm able to la....)

I thought that no matter PU, ABS, or FRP, the installations of bodykits requires drilling and sticking?

Sticking is common but drilling can be avoided if can. As I know I avoided drilling when I installed the spoiler...
