Default PPS (Teflon) Auto Paint Protection, USA (Never Wax Again)

Hi you guys out there ! If you have all along been looking for a wax that will give your car the longest shine and glossy look, look no further. I posted this info just to let you know that I had found an auto detailing shop that offer pps paint protection service for the cars. I was so convinced that I finally had my car treated with this pps teflon coating 10 months ago and the results were nothing short of what they claimed (the shine is even warranteed by them for up to 24 months in writing, it seems that it is warranteed up to 5 years in the USA). No bullshit ! After treatment my car look better than when I took it new from my car salesman. The washing has been a breeze ever since, everything just came off easily without hard rubbing, I could basically just hose them off with tap water. After each washing, my car is as shiny as the day I had it treated with pps paint protection. The greatest thing is you will never need to wax your car again!! I would say that pps paint protection is even better than the best Carnauba wax and all the brands available in the market that I have used although it is rather expensive but was worth the money spent. In the long run I actually saved if I add up my previous waxing cost done every 2 months. This shop also does very good upholstery cleaning and protection with their pps line of protection products and their jobs are very detailing in every aspect as evidenced by my car interior after treatment.

So guys, if you want your car to look miraculously shining and clean whole year round and make your car maintenance job much easier, why not give it a go ! I am sure you will not regret it but do remember to ask for a discount even if their special offer no longer exists (I actually got a special price during one of their promotional offers).

If you want to know more about the pps paint protection system you may log into their website : www.shineNshield.com or contact them @56359933 in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya.

I also posted herewith a copy of their pps catalog for reference.

Bye and good luck always.

Just went there today. Quite happy with their detailing. Took 4 guys & 7 hours to do & they were working all the time. I was really impressed with the deep gloss after "cleaning". Even deeper gloss was obtained after th eso called Teflon treatment.

I really don't expect much out of this, having seen many claims over the years & using so many products. However, I was willing to spend in excess of RM600 for this & I can say at this point, it was worth every penny to see the car better than when it came out of the showroom 18 months ago.

Also, a few past customers drove in for "touch ups" & boy, were their cars looking good after 8 months!

I'll keep you posted on a half yearly basis to let you know if PPS lasts or not, but judging from the two other cars there earlier, I'm quite optimistic.

Hi, Mike good to hear that you had done your car with the PPS teflon coating and that you were happy with the end results and their services too. Just to let you know that I had recently sent in my car for a 2nd PPS cleaning process and you know what, my car came out as good as the very first day I did the PPS coating apart from of course some unavoidable scratches I got over the months. I was particularly happy as my car maintenance job had been made much easier over the 15 months after the PPS teflon coating and the PPS cleaning cost only a mere RM74/- and if divided by 7 months = RM10/- a month maintenance cost only ! Further more, their service was still as good as ever.

I had also recommended a few of my friends to them for PPS teflon coating and all of them were very satisfied with the results.

Bye

The 2nd visit entails detailing again. If there are minor scratches, buffing will take them away. Too deep & a paint shop is called for.

What happens if we have PPS teflon coating and need to send the car for a paint job? I believe the teflon coating will be there for a few years, so will the paint stick? Or the preparation for the paint job should remove the teflon coating?

Sorry for all the questions here, just wondering about it as I am thinking about putting on the PPS on my car too. ;)

Sanding will likely remove the coating. Update, my gf's car had concrete all over the fenders & doors when she drove under a bridge they were cementing over. Amost in tears, she was as she tried to remove the stuff with shampoo & water. Shine&Shield did a good job of scraping the stuff & polishing the car. She was over the moon when she pick it up as it looked better than when the car was delivered by C&C.

I did not know that Shine N Shield could do a great job in removing the cement stains as well as otherwise I will recommend them to one of my friends whose car was splashed with cement fell down from a construction site. He had no choice but spent a large sum sanding and repainting his car lately.

Mike, you are right that sanding will get rid of to teflon coating because I understand that teflon will not penetrate very deep into the paint like the silicone does.

well, as long as your car paint has not oxidised, why not ? They can polish to remove your top lacklustre skin to bring out the shine from the lower layer and then protect it with pps teflon coating. To make sure what I have said is correct check with Raymond of Shine N Shield @03-56359933
