It is the grueling challenge in testing the bond between man and machine, going against everything that Mother Nature had in her arsenal. Let it be sand or snow, scorching heat or heavy down pour, these are just half the elements that the skillful and daring rally drivers would have to face before reaching the finishing line. And with absolutely no time to spare, these guys really gave all their best once they are in the cockpits of their trusted machines.
Since time means everything in rallying where a difference as small as a millisecond could spell victory or defeat, the guys at Stage 1 Technology could not afford to make even a simple mistake in relaying the results, being the FIA’s safety tracking and timing supplier to the World Rally Championship. And they had held their reputation in an excellent position so far as S1T had been in the WRC for ten years and counting.
