2 companies in Msia capable of manufacturing airbags? hmm.. Autoliv and err... Johnson Controls maybe. Air bags a freaking expensive for the end user. A replacement for a blown airbag can come up to RM1,XXX depending on what car it is. Say if a driver encounters a situation which causes his airbag to go off, it may cost as much for him to replace the airbag(s) as to repair other damages depending on how many airbags goes off.
