Phew! What a race! It was the 50th A1GP race - was it the greatest A1GP race so far? It would be hard to argue against it.

Flag Amazing end for the final points position. Australia and USA go into the final corner together, and Australia holds onto ninth. Great Britain snatches a point from the USA right at the Flag.
Flag Switzerland wins! The first time it has ever scored a double victory. Brazil finishes second, its first podium since Australia, 43 races ago.
lap 35 Great Britain, USA and Australia are still battling for position.
lap 34 Great Britain and the USA touch on the penultimate straight, but Jarvis does not manage to get by Jonathan Summerton.
lap 34 Great Britain gets by Mexico and is now trying to catch USA and Australia.

lap 34 Malaysia and New Zealand are now under investigation too. The stewards will have a busy time tonight.
lap 33 Great Britain now gets by Malaysia and takes 12th. Yoong is struggling with his car.
lap 32 Lebanon and France now join China in being currently under investigation.
lap 32 Malaysia is losing positions. USA and Mexico pass on the penultimate straight.
lap 31 Looks like Great Britain was given its penalty because Oliver Jarvis went too quickly in the pit lane.
lap 31 New Zealand comes out in ninth.
lap 30 New Zealand comes into the pits from the lead. Where will Jonny Reid rejoin?
lap 29 Ammermuller is involved in another collision. Erik Janis's Czech Republic car is the victim this time, again at the second turn, and is spun around.
lap 28 Bleekemolen pits, but stalls his engine. The Netherlands mechanics push-start him.

lap 27 Great Britain now has its own drive-through penalty.

27 Netherlands currently leads but hasn't made its pit stop yet, ahead of India, New Zealand and Mexico.
lap 25 Great Britain has a sticking wheel hub and loses time in the pits.
lap 25 Switzerland goes ahead of Brazil while Jiminez is coming out of the pits.

lap 25 Jani is pushing hard. He's setting fastest sector times in an effort to get past Brazil when Jiminez pits.

lap 23 This race just gets better and better! Jeroen Bleekemolen passes Loic Duval around the outside of the tight hairpin at Turn Eight. It's a staggering manourvre.

lap 23 Pit lane is open for the second stops.
lap 23 The top ten is now: Brazil, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, India, China, Ireland, New Zealand, Mexico
lap 23 Ammermuller takes the drive-through penalty.
lap 22 Netherlands is pushing France hard for third.
lap 21 Germany has been given a drive-through penalty for the incident with GBR.
lap 21 Germany is under investigation, no doubt for the incident with Great Britain.
lap 21 China is under investigagtion.
lap 20 More drama! Great Britain is hit by Germany, and Oliver Jarvis spins round. Both get going again but Germany drops to fifth and Great Britain is now sixth.
lap 19 Jani is going for it! He tried to pass Jiminez around the outside of the first turn, but the Brazilian shuts the door quickly and holds onto the position.
lap 18 Italy is in the pits. It's an unscheduled stop and the car is stationary.
lap 17 Switzerland is catching Brazil now. The gap is down to 0.604 seconds.
lap 16 Pakistan makes a small mistake, and New Zealand and Malaysia both get through.
lap 15 Adam Carroll loses control of the A1 Team Ireland car. He drops from seventh to 10th, after Mexico slips by.
lap 15 New Zealand is struggling to get past Adam Khan's Pakistan car in 14th. Khan again is defending superbly, as he did in Brno.
lap 14 Brazil sets the fastest lap . Could it be about to score its first win in 48 races?
lap 13 Brazil now has a 1.93-second lead ahead of Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, India, China, Mexico.
lap 12 This is amazing racing! Jani doesn't give up and repasses Jarvis, and as a result, France's Duval sneaks by too. In three corners Jarvis has gained a place but then lost two!

lap 12 Jarvis made a great restart and passes Jani into the second corner.
lap 12 The race restarts.
lap 11 TV replays show that Switzerland was delayed trying to leave the pits, being stuck behind France.
lap 11 Malaysia and New Zealand are thankful for the Safety Car. They get to catch up to the rest of the field.
lap 10 Brazil got out of the pits first. Jiminez got the better start when the green light came on at the end of the pit lane.
lap 10 The most amazing thing has just happened. The red light in the pit lane was on, meaning cars all queued up, stationary, instead of trying to leave the pits. If you leave the pit lane with the red light on, you are disqualified.
lap 9 With the pit window open, everyone is bound to come into the pits for their first stops.
lap 9 Safety Car is out.
lap 8 Disaster! Canada's Robert Wickens hits Zaugg while he tried to get his car back on track. Both end up in the gravel and retire.
lap 8 Adrian Zaugg overcooks it and spins out of eighth at Turn Seven.
lap 6 South Africa passes India for eighth.
lap 6 China, recovering from the first lap accident, takes tenth off Mexico at the final corner.
lap 5 Switzerland is running away with this again. Jani has a 2.3-second lead over France.
lap 4 So the order after all the early action is Switzerland, France, Brazil, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, India, South Africa, Mexico.
lap 3 Brazil and Great Britain are having a great scrap for third.
lap 3 France is under investigation.
lap 2 New Zealand limps into the pits.
lap 2 Malaysia and New Zealand collide. Jonny Reid spins and Alex Yoong has lost his nose cone.
lap 1 Malaysia has made a great start and is ninth.
lap 1 France and Brazil get by Switzerland.

lap 1 Big crash at the first corner involving Canada, USA, Portugal, China, Australia and the Czech Republic. Portugal stuck in the gravel at the first turn.
lap 1 Jani grabs the lead for Switzerland again.
lap 1 The race is underway!
14:56 Just minutes to go before the start of the main race.
14:46 Jeroen Bleekemolen is not a happy man. A1 Team Netherlands has been judged to have jumped the start of the Sprint race and the team has lost the three points for eighth.
14:35 The second pit stop window has been announced. It will happen between lap s 22 and 30. The race is 35 lap s in total, and the first pit stop always takes place between lap s 8 and 14.
14:30 Welcome back to Sepang. It's still hot and humid here - latest temperatures reading? A whopping 32 degrees Celcius. Combined with a staggering 66 per cent humidity it is going to be a tough race.
