Dear All,

I used Ron95 for my Tezza. Can't afford Ron97. Although compression is high, has no problems or I'll effects running Ron95.

Just sharing of info, what brand of fuel you guys run on?

I swear by Primax 95. Thinks it gives the best performance. Tried 2 tankful of the recently improved BHP (claimed to be Spore Euro 4 grade) but found that it gave poorer mileage not to mention no improvement in performance, from my experience at least.

Esso! Every 1000 points gives me back free petrol. Sadly, the amount has dropped by a lot lately

Used to fill up with just about everything: Shell, Petronas, Caltex, & Esso. But now only Esso/Petron 95 cuz got loyalty card.
Any other petrol that gives such loyalty card membership?

Bro., I also using because got stations near my house and office, and of course the smiles card. 3000 points for RM45 fuel, where to get, or can shop in the Petrol Station Mart at 100 points for RM1. Can buy bread, drinks etc., and use smiles card like debit card......:driver:

Can say so, but I didn't really check how much points I have as well, but the things to change are quite attractive. Though, things that you change definitely cost less than the amount of money you spend on fuel and also does not cost that much. Maybe few hundred ringgit things, the points
you have may cause up to few thousands ringgit spend on fuel.

I just take it as a bonus item to get since, I pump Shell Fuel, might as well just collect
points as I pump.

But now gonna test on Petron Fuel...

First try the fuel and see whether suits your ride or not. If not, also no point. If yes, then like you say is bonus, can change for items.....:driver:

That is usually the first choice, station closest to house or office......
Ya, trying out different Fuel and see which suits Kelisa best.

So far Shell FC is good.

Mine closest is Esso just 1 min from my house, but I chose to drive down at least 3-5mins further down to pump shell

Yeap exactly. Between my house & office also got 3 Petron stations, so it's convenient.

I often pump Shell before when going to my previous project location. I honestly cannot tell the difference between Shell, Esso/Petron, or any other ones.

My VR4 cannot take Shell woh! That was the older formula FS RON97. Pump in and feel like Esso Ron95 that I tried earlier, so have to siphon out put in my NA Hyundai and pump back Esso Ron97.
Now the V power Racing Ron97 dare not try already.....:hmmmm:

So far no knocking, but Ron97 Shell really different in terms of acceleration smoothness. Not sure la, that's what I felt.

2 weeks+ been using Ron97. So, still testing, then go back to Ron95.

he change to Ron95 when at mid month - date before dapat gaji

anyway nearest to my house is petronas. Petron (originally mobil) still in the process of changing their looks. Shell, and BHP are kinda way off. going to the station itself and turning back home just for the sake of filling up fuel is really a hassle.

I had a go with BHP. From tanjung malim to Ampang. Fill up full on my sister's preve. Fuel usage indicator didn't go down. Was quiet surprised. The only reason tried BHP was that the petronas station there at that time ran out of fuel supply lol. BHP station suddenly become crowded

By the way, do you guys tend to mix fuel for example fill BHP Ron95, later minyak left quarter and fill up with Petronas 95 since not sure when you'll meet up the next available BHP station ? Any effects in mixing it such as performance, fuel consumption and etc.?

So far tested Petronas/Petron on Kelisa, Still Shell Fuel Save 95 give the best mileage.
Worse one was Petronas.

The difference between fuels are additives....(apart from octane no.)
For daily ride, any petrol would do so long it suits the recommended octane no.

I love shell because it has the best response. Very addictive. But knocking becomes much more severe in my 20V blacktop. Petron is the best for my engine as knock is really minimal. The response however is slightly sluggish.

For me I alternate between Shell and Petron. I love shell for city drive as it makes stop and go much easier. But I always have to restrain myself and remind myself when I am using shell: "NO BLASTING".
