Just recently bought an autogauge electrical water temp.
Sensor aka sender can't seem to fit in 2 water temp adapters that i have.
1 is Work Engineering and the other is Arospeed.
Realise the size is same, but the thread is different.
For example the hole in the adapter is M10 x 1.5 i think, but the sender thread is M10 x 1.0
Just wondering does all the sensors/sender have the same thread?? HKS, Defi, Greedy..etc??
How do u current autogauge water temp users install your sensor??
Thanks

Force the sender/sensor into the adaptor.

Results.. it broke into 2 at the screw cap. So took the sender push it all the way in..add some silicon glue.. cover back with the screw cap.. add more silicon glue..
and it's there.. working perfectly fine... without any leak.

To avoid the hassle... rebore the thread at the adaptor.. which u will have to find the correct thread maker/driller.. or.. buy the same brand as your gauge..

Initally i forced it in, but it still couldn't go all the way down. Not sure if water will leak out from there also.

thought wanna rebore, but the hand tap will cost rm35, which i'm not sure if it'll work. Autogauge water temp is another RM65....still thinking...
Just wanna be sure if the autogauge adapter will fit 100%???
