Automotive advertisements these days are in a class of their own, stretching creativity and the boundaries of logic to provide us, or even convince us, that their product is the game leader. Heck, we’ve even reached a point where they don’t have to be limited to print, online or other traditional mediums.

Volkswagen came up with the idea, as part of their social responsibility program, to make a rubbish bin that gave you scores for throwing, or dunking, your rubbish into it. Then they went on with the musical steps that you could play tune on.

Now they’ve returned to video for the 2011 Tiguan but has still managed to get creative. The video starts with a little boy that has some serious anger management issues that he unleashes on a Pinata the shape of an SUV. As he hammers away at it, the Pinata shows no signs of ripping apart. Finally he gives up and then an adult has a swipe at it too, with little success.

It’s then that we see the Pinata spin around a little to reveal its secret, which you’ll have to see the video for yourself to know.

coming sometime in 2009), Mercedes is going to unleash the C63 AMG, a 451bhp...
