Who doesn't like a good tuning company? Tuners always make a good car better or more unique. Whereas some companies only focus on improving or altering the looks of your machine, some strongly believe that a couple of hundred extra horsepower is never a bad thing. Novitec Rosso is one of those companies who like to take things to extremes.

Above Pic: Hardcore siblings: 707 bhp Novitec Rosso F430 (left) and 717 bhp Novitec Rosso 430 Scuderia (right).

Here we showcase a few behind-the-scene photos from the Iktikadraya centre depicting the transformation of Ferrari 430 Scuderia into Novitec Rosso 717. Over the duration of 3 days, specially flown Novitec Rosso engineers from Germany turned an already quick Ferrari into an uncompromising rocket on wheels.

Perhaps, we should start by reminding ourselves what the original car was about. Ferrari 430 Scuderia, a race-bred stripped-down racetrack-oriented version of the original Ferrari F430 was released back in 2007. Even the standard version is able to achieve a top speed of 319 km/h, thanks to its 508 bhp V8 engine and extensive diet, which neatly removed 100 kg in weight. Whereas the exterior was quite similar to the original car, the interior has lost most of its chic. You won't find any fancy carpets or leather seats, only naked carbon-fiber, alcantara dashboard and exposed weld seams.

So, what did Novitec Rosso do with 430 Scuderia, you may ask. Externally, the car is only differentiated by its lower suspension, black tail lights and famous Novitec Rosso NF3 aluminum rims. Novitec Rosso decided against using any aerodynamic kits for this car as they said it is already perfect.

Under the skin, you'll find a Novitec Race Bi-compressor with twin superchargers and a handful of other extras that collaborate together in order to produce 717 bhp. It takes the machine a mere 3.5 seconds to start traveling at 100 km/h and it will have no problem reaching its maximum speed of 348 km/h.

Upgrade in process.

It is indeed a wolf in sheep clothing among other 430 Scuderias (or should we say cheetah in horse clothing). Looking almost the same as the stock car, this little thing could outrun Enzo Ferrari on the track and leave other 430 owners a little confused.

Alex, great write-up and shots! I really should try to arrange for some pictures in the day. The results are so much better when the lighting is good! Btw - love the interior shot ;)

Thanks Won! Shooting during the day is definitely easier, you won't need any extra lighting equipment or flash. Time is the problem, especially for us working people... and the car owners are also busy during the day.

I still have tons to learn about in photography. I gave the free lessons a miss, when I was offered free media stay and coverage to Carlsberg event.

You guys have to help me out with the photo-taking ideas, I'd need to take some good ones next week.

Just spoke to Iktikadraya representatives yesterday, they said the car mentioned in this write-up will be repainted soon to Novitec Rosso 777 style paintwork, matte red & black theme, so it will look like this:
