Haha... well, I am just teasing you guys with the subject line. So what's up with everyone lately. been really quiet here.

For me, not much plans for my Airtrek in terms of performance enhancement. One thing I've always been talking about is to go for 2.4L stroker kit. Had a chat with Ah Wah lately, I need to plan and may be doing it this year-end holiday if things 'goes well'. So what about you guys?

On the other hand, the other big thing that is coming up this school holidays is my other car. I am doing the following:

1) Major servicing
2) Engine mounting replacement
3) Cooling system upgrade (new radiators, new hoses and proabably new fans)
4) Remapping ECU to enable some parameters to trigger fan activation earlier and moving rev-limiter higher

Apart from that actually, there's much more to be done. Some issues with bad water level sensor and bad selenoid. All these aren't gonne be cheap.

So, what's coming up next for you?

Possible? But the seat will be very high cos the floor is not deep. Interesting thought.

There's a big well for the spare tire. Must frabicate floor board before the seats can be installed. Share pics if you ever do it.. :)

Responsiveness. Resolve issue of turbo lag. Those whose using bigger turbo on auto cars know that it will take time to spin up the turbo. For Airtrek, TD05 comes in only around 4K rpm. Slow and laggy cos you can't rev upon take off. With 2.4L, you not only increase torque, turbo starts as soon as 2K rpm just like TD04. So..... that alone makes the car so much more alive.

2.4 cos Ah Wah has done many already... all doing pretty well. So that's why I did not think about 2.2 nor 2.3 :)

U sure that will reduce lag better than 2.4? If yes, can consider this option. Anyone using aluminium pulley? How's the difference?

2.4 surely produce more exhaust but bearing need lesser exhaust to move it.diff is the costing only...
