SIC OFFERS WIN-WIN F1 FORMULA FOR MALAYSIAN CORPORATE COMPANIES

Offering packages described as ‘a win-win F1 formula’, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) has called on the corporate companies to take opportunity from the upcoming 2007 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix race as a platform to enhance and explore their business opportunities.

While doing so, SIC Chairman Datuk Mokhzani Tun Dr Mahathir said, the corporate companies would also be supporting a national agenda by the Government.

“As you are aware, Formula One is not merely a programme for SIC or the city of Kuala Lumpur. Instead, it is a national project by the Government to enhance Malaysia’s image globally; a catalyst to develop motorsports in Malaysia as a sports as well as a business; as well as for the development of its automotive sector.

“Now, it has become a prime strategy in generating national revenue from tourism, which SIC, Tourism Malaysia and the City of Kuala Lumpur are fully committed to and which had shown over the years of its huge impact to national economy,” Mokhzani said.

With the event commanding hundred of thousands of television viewers, Mokhzani said Malaysian companies could make immediate impact in international mileage by taking up the circuit’s advertising packages around the track and at the spectator areas.

On a smaller scale, they could also take up advertising spaces with the official programme or simply committing themselves as partners to the event with SIC, he added.

The companies could also take up the Paddock Club, Corporate Suite and Corporate Platform packages to entertain their business associates and clients at the circuit while enjoying the world’s most prestigious motor racing event.

Hailed as the Ultimate Experience in Formula One, the Paddock Club provides access for guests to be near the F1 pits and garages; meeting drivers up close and enjoy the race from private lounges at the upper terrace of the pit building. Passes are sold between RM14,440 and RM16,340 each.

For the Corporate Suite package, companies could entertain up to 150 people with full hospitality and decorative branding during the three-day event in private suites situated at the Mall Area. Each exclusive suite is priced between RM427,000 and RM475,000.

For a true open-air experience to the race, corporate companies could opt for the Corporate Platform package where it could host up to 90 people during the three-day event at the upper tier of the Main Grandstand at a price of between RM48,000 and RM74,000.

Sepang would host the second round of the 2007 Formula One World Championship from 6th to 8th April – which would be three weeks after the opening round in Melbourne, Australia from 15th to 18th March.

Prior to the actual race, Sepang would also host its first ever official F1 Team testing at the circuit from 27th to 29th March, which Mokhzani believed would be a key programme to boost the promotions of the Malaysian race and would be instrumental in its efforts to woo in 120,000 spectators for the race.

“We believe the 2007 event would be a very exciting season this year with the focus on the battle with the two new lead drivers of McLaren and Ferrari – double world champion Fernando Alonso and his strongest rival Kimi Raikkonen.

“And, with Malaysia hosting the second leg – three weeks after the opening round and organising an official testing the week before the race – fans can expect the teams and drivers at their best; competing at their true capabilities,” Mokhzani added.

Priced as low as RM50, tickets for event can be purchased via internet at Sepang International Circuit or by calling TICKET HOTLINE at 603 – 8778 2222.

Beading Effect for KKE Thick Wax -

When water is sprayed on a normal car surface, the water would generally form a film and remain on the car paint and would probably dry on the car. The water drying on the car has several problems like leaving water spots, dirt dryin on the car etc. Even harmfull effects of bugs, tree saps, road film harms your car paint and its finish.

An unprotected car paint would probably have a water film.

KKE Thick Wax is to be applied by hand using a wax...
