Guys any1 know how to set up
a router for pc n laptop(both got NIC)?

D-Link router
Streamyx brokbang

I've tried the manual
but it wont help

Does ur router comes wif a build in modem? If it dosen't you first have to connect the streamyx modem to the router then re route it to ur Pc and Laptop.

Basically. Plug the Utp cable from your modem to the router. (Straight cable)

Then configure your WAN port as if it was your pc last time connected stand alone, DNS, PPOE . Configure your LAN as a private IP 192.x.x.x 255.255.255.0 etc... DHCP or static.

Then configure your PC/Laptop according to what you set in the LAN portion of your router. dhcp or static route. done..
