Clutch goes n wears.. its the connection of engine power to transmit to the gear box.. what ever combination u'll do.. it wont last very long... especially those kaki rembat.. dont expect it to be lasting more than 2 years.. usually bout 40K km mileage and those exedy will say good bye.. if ur matching with oem pressure plate it would last a bit longger, but the bite is inferior to those of racing pressure plate... trinity is harsher n durable.. but it somehows whears the bearing if u usually force drag at stop n go.. after a while.. it produces sounds.. n then the pressure plates will go... to those using trinity.. it is adviseable to add engine damper or reinforce the engine mounting as well.. coz it will rock the engine n destroy ur mounting faster than the clutch will wear...

Oh my! U have similar configuration as what I have now.. u said ur MMC clutch cover broke ar? Damn.. now u making me worried. :( May I know what car u drive? Did u mod ur engine? How much horses?

Apparently there are 2 types of friction disc. First type is called Spring hub disc and the other which are commonly found in race clutch system is called Solid hub disc - like Triniti.

Normal car uses Spring Hub, so that the engagement is smoother as compared to a solid hub disc. But solid hub disc enables quicker engagement.

The semi race Exedy clutch system is using a higher clamp load clutch cover but using a Spring hub disc, which explains why it's smoother. I heard the Semi race Exedy is using organic friction disc.. is this true? If it is, then organic friction disc might not last as long as ceramic-metallic friction disc.

R u Dennis with AEE 711??

my waja1.6x auto 2002 dec

i have done below modifications to my waja, i only aim for 1st stage
performance and fine turning.
as theory says that engine performance can be devide by 4-that is intake,
exshault , ignitions, and fuel, due to that. i have done below
modifications on 3sections biside fuel. and thinking of getting a fuel
regulator to adjust the fuel pressure to higher rate to give better fuel
spray and a bit more fuel to the engine to macth the incressed air intake...
