Should use RON97 as RON99 is not available here in Malaysia.

But in the US, there's no RON >97, yet R35 is avaliable there.
Depend on state, some state even sell E85.

Better get a proper tune for malaysia fuel quality, like most import sport car do. If not u risk damage the engine in high boost for long run.

Yeap, it surely can be tuned to fit the available fuel or else it won't be widely sold here & in US.

Believe it or not, a GTR's ECU is smart enough to retard its ignition timing when it detects knocking. So I don't think you have anything to worry about knocking as its ECU is advanced enough to stay out of trouble.

Yes.. modern car have knock sensor, but do u really wan your engine to retard timing till limit n jump into limp mode..? detect knock when u on boost..? Continues of knock count ecu will jump into limp mode, limiting boost, running rich, lower timing, this is not good for the engine health. This is happen even with a tune ECU, u never know when u going to fill up crap fuel malaysia have.

water meth injection might help. reducing knock and lowers the internal temp.
dont know on R35 though..

Hey people,
I'm thinking of modding the exhaust of my Telstar. I've asked for quotes and for 2 bullets, 2.5" piping and muffler is about RM550. is that a good price? I'm doing it at puchong. If I want to change the extractor, I 'only' need to add RM150. Good deal?

Another question is. How big a difference will the exhaust mod make to my:
1) power/torque
2) fuel consumption?
The most important thing i'm looking for is actually better fuel consumption. Is the exhaust mod worth it...
