1-easy tu build
2-smaller enclosure size
3-leantight sounding bass
4-better power handling vs ported design
5-linear low bassextension
disadvantages:
1-less efficient as compared to ported design.
ported enclosure:
advantages
1-more output at tuning frequency as compared to the same woofer in a sealed enclosure
2-higher efficiency
disadvanteges
1-large enclosure size
2-calculating enclosure and port dimensios are more difficult
3-easy to blow if power handling limit is exceeded
