Hi all

The throttle body seems had no improvement after :

1) done d throttle body servicing & its timing go up & down again(particularly on the hot day driving)
2) changed used FICD, also no help....

Can a Throttle body can be repaired?...
What is my next solution?....changed a used or new TB?.....

Thx

Bro....wht is d best interval to do flush?...evry 50,000 km?
If your oil change interval on time you actually don't need to flush. Beside chemical flush you can use cheap lighter viscosity oil to flush also.

basically, I agreed with VR2, I don't do flush..

just make sure the engine oil are changed at every 10k or on time.
personally, I feel the flush will do harm than good..
damaging the seals etc..

For turbo engine, I actually recommend earlier OCI. My VR engine never pass 10k km those days but still looks dark inside. I think change at 5 to 7k km better. NA can go 10k km, engine not as hot....:driver:

although engine oil are cheaper in sg, but cannot be so wasteful bro..

once a year, I will still send for check up, change of E O
fully synthetic only.
Shell helix ultra is going like SGD40 for 4L in Sg

Is standard schedule, even car manufacturer set 10k km or 6 months. This is due to contamination of the oil. The less you use the car, the more likely water vapor is formed. Of course it is up to you whether you want to change in 6 months or 1 year....:driver:

Helix Ultra during Tesco sales time around RM149, sometimes even cheaper.....

As long you love your ride, want it to be protected, we will handle it for you. We arrived to this Jazz Hybrid early in the morning, when you can barely see the sun. It had been drizzling since 6am but fortunately it stopped...
