First, we would like to apologize for the long wait since the last article. We had been very occupied with clients. Since we are kick starting the first come back article, here is a BMW F10 5 series that we couldn't really forget. All the way at Ipoh,Perak, we traveled just to get this ride detailed and coated. Check it out.

Like we always say, looks can be deceiving when it comes to black cars. The car is at least a year old now.

From a distance it looks extremely glossy and shiny. But once we paid more attention to the details...

The car is washed and maintained by the maid/butler. Which sometimes, washing becomes such a boring thing for them, hence they miss spots.

From our observation, we could see alot of watermark stains all over, even the chrome was stained.

Either the maid/butler didn't dry the car after washing or it was the rich minerals from Ipoh's waters.

But either way, everywhere was covered in heavy watermark stains.

Some were just spots like dalmatians.

Some were in patches.

These patches are usually found at areas which rain waters are usually trapped in and dried naturally.

For a 1 year old car, I wouldn't be surprised that areas like this are neglected.

Its covered in dirt and sand.

As we came to evaluate the paint, we found light swirls from washing. At least we know that the maid/butler are using proper washing equipments.

Our LED lighting visibly shows us some minor swirls as well.

Some areas were slightly lighter in swirls as well.

Finally, the once chrome exhaust tips were fully oxidized.

The first step of every correction stage, would be the washing. Areas like this are never missed out.

After that, we polished the paint to remove the swirls. Here is the results after 1 pass.

and the final pass. PS: Its a sun shot just in case you didn't notice.

Under the LED, swirls were removed.

A closer look on a different section.

Not forgetting the chrome exhaust tips. Now that's what we call "Bling"

The car now is coating worthy. Read on as we proceed to the coating.

The wheels did look good when we first did our standard walk around.

As we looked closer, we found some very poor washing.

It was almost as if the maid/butler just washed the car for the sake of washing.

Lug nuts areas are usually dirty but we wouldn't blame anyone for that since not everyone has the proper tools.

After much detailing to the wheels.

Lug nut areas are like new!

All edges are cleaned and removed of the stains,

The cleaned wheel.

The hours of works definitely was not short, but it was all worth while when these results pop out after we applied the Opti Coat™ Pro.

and Finally...

i was thinking of buying a BMW E30 3 series and putting in a nissan engine maybe a RB20 or something as i notice some owners do this. What would be a suitable engine for this car?
Any ideas or thoughts on this?
