Guys, I am currently looking at a few used neo CPS. Anyway to identify they are not converted? Is it possible to judge from the chassis number?

Bro, just test drive it.
CPS activates at 4.3RPM and you can feel it.
Or the other way is trace back the launching date/year of CPS and cross reference it with the car that you plan to purchase.
By the way, the new Satria neos base line are already equipped with CPS engine and the price is fairly reasonable.

has anyone experienced smoking brakes?? after a couple of hard stops
came to a complete halt.... at gas station.... saw there was smoke coming
from the tyres.....scary man i tot the engine was on fire.... open the hood nothing.... check the tyres.... got some tyre smell..... must be the brakes.... cuz
tyre smoke shud dissapear within 15 seconds..... and tyre smoke
is very very thick...... with that distinct rubber smell..... check the
hydraulic lines and filler level everything ok...
