Thanks for the idea, Koni + elbach. Will look forward to that xDDo you have a big budget? Eibach prokit springs + Koni FSD absorbers. I'm not sure if they may for Lancer/Inspira or not though. Koni is a 2 stage absorber that's pressure dependent. The harder you press it (hard/fast corners) the stiffer it becomes. But when you're just cruising along normal roads it's soft and pleasant. Eibachs usually do a good job of lowering cars.
Alternatively I'd recommend BC Racing / AR Racing coilovers. Bodyshift lets you lower height without compressing springs (I'm not sure if your ISC can do this or not) so it doesn't affect ride quality. HLSH allows you to adjust dampening to suite your driving style and you can DIY it instead of revalving.
OR consider FTuned. Their absorbers are monotubes, their HLSH is adjustable which you can DIY to suite your driving style and at the same time the fellas behind the brand are ex-Proton Lotus R3 engineers who developed the R3 suspension. You can't go wrong with that sort of expertise.
Comfort is not subjective but Tolerance is.'Comfort' or the 'level of acceptable comfort' can be subjective.
No damping adjustment? If have, adjust softer.Tq for all the feedback.
Answering some questions,
1) my coilovers is ISC brand, initially came with 8k front and 6k rear springs. Changed to 6k front and 4k rear. The bounciness did improve but still there.
2)Yes the coilovers does come with bodyshift, where u can adjust the ride height by changing the bottom end of the coilovers and not compressing the spring.
3)went to tt and tried other setup, but when i tried it was in town roads not on highway. And definitely not on the cyberjaya-putrajaya-puchong highway :D
Another issue with my coilovers is that it is used for 10 months when i brought it.
Do you guys think that maybe sending it for servicing will help??
+1. AgreedNormally send for service if gone soft, leak or jam. I don't think 10 months would have failed so fast?
Did you ever find out what the spring rates for your stock suspension was? I suspect you need to down-rate your springs to approx 4Fr/3Rr to be anywhere near stock levels.1 Changed to 6k front and 4k rear. The bounciness did improve but still there.
That may be unlikely since your stock spring rates are below those values.4k 3k would cause bottoming out.
When I was at their office the other day, I saw a set of RCS coilovers that was serviced.Anyone ever sent their coilovers to repair to them. Seem like a good and reputable company.
