Do you have a big budget? Eibach prokit springs + Koni FSD absorbers. I'm not sure if they may for Lancer/Inspira or not though. Koni is a 2 stage absorber that's pressure dependent. The harder you press it (hard/fast corners) the stiffer it becomes. But when you're just cruising along normal roads it's soft and pleasant. Eibachs usually do a good job of lowering cars.

Alternatively I'd recommend BC Racing / AR Racing coilovers. Bodyshift lets you lower height without compressing springs (I'm not sure if your ISC can do this or not) so it doesn't affect ride quality. HLSH allows you to adjust dampening to suite your driving style and you can DIY it instead of revalving.

OR consider FTuned. Their absorbers are monotubes, their HLSH is adjustable which you can DIY to suite your driving style and at the same time the fellas behind the brand are ex-Proton Lotus R3 engineers who developed the R3 suspension. You can't go wrong with that sort of expertise.
Thanks for the idea, Koni + elbach. Will look forward to that xD

suspension set up is very tricky. going too low or too hard will will make the car handle alot worst (street use) then intended. the lowest you should go is when your lower arms are perfectly horizontal any lower you will need to add in a RCA. As for the bounce, like izo mentioned body shift will work well in lowering the ride without compressing springs. whats your current spring rates? absorber stifness must go in hand with spring rates. With all this factor in, this is why i like custom made set up. u may wanna look at ur current set up and playaround with the settings.

'Comfort' or the 'level of acceptable comfort' can be subjective. One man's meat can be another's poison. One fella says it's comfortable while another says his back about to break. :stickyman:

Go participate in TTs. Ride in other people's car & find out what your own level of acceptable comfort is. Tbh, I wished I did that before I made the jump. :smokin:

Comfort is not subjective but Tolerance is.

Actually many people will agree when a suspension is comfortable or not. It's just the acceptance level is different because there are people who can tolerate uncomfortable drive and there are people who can't tolerate crap at all. I just hate the fact that there are people who blatantly claim a suspension is comfortable while it is actually not.

also, if a particular suspension brand works on a particular car, doesn't mean it can be good on other cars as well.

gbsaint, it is best if you can try before you buy. if you don't you'll end up buying new adjustable every time you're not satisfied.

Tq for all the feedback.

Answering some questions,

1) my coilovers is ISC brand, initially came with 8k front and 6k rear springs. Changed to 6k front and 4k rear. The bounciness did improve but still there.

2)Yes the coilovers does come with bodyshift, where u can adjust the ride height by changing the bottom end of the coilovers and not compressing the spring.

3)went to tt and tried other setup, but when i tried it was in town roads not on highway. And definitely not on the cyberjaya-putrajaya-puchong highway :D

Another issue with my coilovers is that it is used for 10 months when i brought it.

Do you guys think that maybe sending it for servicing will help??

No damping adjustment? If have, adjust softer.

Normally send for service if gone soft, leak or jam. I don't think 10 months would have failed so fast?

Did you ever find out what the spring rates for your stock suspension was? I suspect you need to down-rate your springs to approx 4Fr/3Rr to be anywhere near stock levels.

4k 3k would cause bottoming out. Beside don't get me wrong i like stiffer suspension. The bumpy feeling is causing performance issues as u could not keep the throttle planted when its bouncy.

On side note,
Was researching a bit and i saw F TUNED do service + REVALVE for coilovers. Price also not too bad.

Wonder if revalving the coilovers will help.

Anyone ever sent their coilovers to repair to them. Seem like a good and reputable company.

That may be unlikely since your stock spring rates are below those values.

I do not have the exact values for Inspira but here's some info which you may use as reference > Spring Rate Chart for Evo X - evolutionm.net

Inspira is way lighter than an Evo. So we may expect stock rates to be lower than the Evo's

When I was at their office the other day, I saw a set of RCS coilovers that was serviced.

My wira has their GT Series road-touge package which includes HLSH front inverted monotubes (8K) + rear monotube (4K).

First time user of coilovers. So until such time I am familiar enough, I will refrain commenting about their performance. Some of the guys at our recent TT did drive it a bit. I believe their opinions will be more reliable. They may chip in if they have anything to add.
