thanx Yong, for the added suggestions. :)

asian,
yeah, if u intend to play ICE with a real tight budget...u can opt for perhaps a 4ch amp (either MB2000.4 or M440(1unit left)), 2 ch's power 6.5" orange comp set, while the other 2 ch bridge for 10" Blue sub. This set will cost you:

Orange 6.5" Component Set (Front) = RM 330

Blue 10" Subwoofer = RM 190

MB2000.4 4ch Amp (Comp Set+Sub) = RM 600

Total = RM 1120

Discounted = RM 1090 (cheaper, but only 1 amp, smaller low end sub)

i dun recommend using the Orange 10" sub cos its DVC, the 2ch's may not be sufficient to power the sub nicely.

perhaps u can consider this suggestion also...

Orange 6.5" Component Set (Front) = RM 330
MB700.2 2ch Amp (Comp Set) = RM 350

Orange 12" Subwoofer = RM 270
MB1000.2 2ch Amp = RM 450

Total = RM 1400

Discounted = RM 1350!! (complete set lagi)

Cheers

dude, nope, the price listed does not include installation. it can be arranged tho, at a reasonable price. the shop is in melaka. it depends on yr car, wiring, and stuff. cheers

masterujai,

between pioneer and alpine, there's a difference in price. Alpine is more expensive than pioneer, and claims to be better according to some (compared high end to high end, low end to low end). but the prices for pioneer is cheaper, so it depends on yr budget. and yr ears.

and yes, 6" comp set can fit in your satria door. abit of modification only, no need to add extra panel. installation around rm 40.

cheers

kelloo,

yep, right on the money. ;) prefer COD malacca, 50% deposit first.

ok, yr budget RM 800?

here's my suggestion:

1 x Orange 12" sub = RM 270

1 x MB1000.2 = RM 450

Total = RM 720 only. <RM800. :D

if u want double sub, but willing to expand yr budget a little, u can try this:

2 x Orange 12" sub = RM 540

1 x MB2000.2 = RM 550

Total = RM 1090

Discounted (> 2 items) = RM 1060!!;)

cheers

kelloo, u may need a preamp once u've upgraded yr sound system to multiple amplifiers. now currently i believe u are running all stock right? yr deh2650 cd player has only 1 set of preouts for a single amplifier, which will be used for the sub u intend to get. if next time u want component set, u might have to get a preamp to connect another amplifier. otherwise, u can get a HU with more preouts. a cheaper alternative(ofcos, sacrifice sound reproduction) is by using a Y-splitter, which will divide yr 1 preout into 2.

at the mean time, if u intend to run yr stock speakers with only 1 amp and sub, no problem, no need preamp.

let me noe when yr fren wan to contact me la.

cheers
