This car will be a market conqueror.

Civic 2.0S is RM12k more expensive. Type R which was launched a week ago? RM83k difference. Looks like Honda went straight into an ambush.

Few years down the line, owners will be unable to ignore the itch to transform the Lancer to Evo X. Similar platform (although FF), same 2.0 cc. Evo X for less than a price of a Type R.

But heck, in stock version, it's already a MIVEC 2.0.

There needs to be room made for the Ralliart and the Evo, therefore you can't expect this bread and butter Lancer to have the full on effect.

So stop whinging just because it doesn't look 100% like the concept. Kids...
