Guys,

My Mercedes Benz C200K (W203) has recently prompted me with an error message - Undervoltage Consumer Defective at the display panel. I don't regularly drive the car and I expected the battery could have gone weak or even 'flat'.

Yesterday, I have 'jump-start' the car and the engine started normally. However, the after driving it for a few kilometers the Undervoltage Consumer Defective error message prompted.

Please provide me with some input with regards to the problem.

Thanks!

try voltage take reading from the battery...use a digi multi meter.

Maybe battery not charged after long underused and continuous alarm activation...

Read some where in MB forum. Something to do with battery, Voltage regulator or alternator....

true oso....

Battery will have a lifespan, about 2 years with normal use. Shorter if cap ayam brand battery.

Also, Lifespan shorter if a lot of starting, and little intermittent re-charging...
