Pentagon Racing, based in Kuala Lumpur, is one of Malaysia's most recognized tuning house for anything Honda. Namely the K20A powered Type-Rs. Setting highly respectable lap times and leaving their mark at top Malaysian circuit events has brought them into the spotlight.
Being one of the must-show faces at TIMETOATTACK, we met up with Chris at Honda-specialist’s headquarters, and had a little chat about their progress in the pursuit for that magical lap time. It is to our amazement though that the car that used to represent Pentagon (driven by Chris) during the 2012 round had already changed hands earlier this year.

We've found out that they are now entering the 2013 Malaysia Super Series with a new Honda Civic FD2R. And although they are not able to make it to this upcoming Round 1 as a competitor due to the proximity of the two events, Pentagon might be bringing this new project car to the final round of TIMETOATTACK which they will be entering the Time Attack Machines category.
And if you have followed MSS before, then you should already know that the regulation only allow the Hondas to run with a K20 engine under the hood. Not to say that the engine is not competitive-worthy, but Pentagon has a reputation to maintain, which is why they have kept the race engine they used in the previous time attack car and will be transplanting it into the project car they are running today.
So for the upcoming Round 1, Pentagon will be represented by a fleet of their customer’s cars, with most of them had already done a number of alterations and refinements after gaining experience from the previous TIMETOATTACK rounds. With most of the bugs already being located and ironed out, there is a probability that we might be in for a treat later on at Sepang International Circuit this May 19<sup>th</sup> on the 2013 TIMETOATTACK Round 1!
