About Exedy Twin plates, which one you have? the cerametallic or carbon one?
The cerametallic twin (part #ZM022SD) has been discontinued by Exedy Japan early this year.
But I think you still can special order it.

I suggest you to contact CK Lim (very nice and friendly guy) about the replacement part for the twin plates. He is from Yew Teong (M) Sdn Bhd a.k.a Exedy Jalan Ipoh main distributor of Exedy Malaysia.
Contact him via email: [email protected] (his computer is always open beside his desk)
or call him : 012-361 3486

Agreed. CK is a very helpful fellow. We ordered in the past and his experience will definitely assist in your decision.

Thanks guys,

I spoke to C.K..he told me that the replacement plates for the twin clutch would cost 1900...the problem is that the earliest they can arrive is next January...

was wondering if ordering other brands of twin plate clutches like HKS take as long??

kk13 i have had bad experience with hks twin plates. This is my personal view after using the set for less than a year. Go with other name brands like exedy, os,ogura. Exedy is great as you have local support.

kk13, recommend to choose the product that has better support and warranty.

Unless you happen to do auto-cross or others, a lighter clutch is just a lighter clutch.

Hi guys,

One of the nuts in the subframe has come loose after replacing the front lower arm for my waja. The bolt now spins freely and cannot be removed also.

I've read on VW forums that they will cut a hole in the subframe and weld the nut back in place, but that seems like it will compromise the structure of the subframe. (I have a GSR terbalik in my engine bay).

My questions is, should I look for a Waja subframe from halfcut shops, buy a new one from Proton (how much?:bawling:)...
