Lug Holes on Taiwan Rims

Guys, can one differentiate Taiwan rims from China rims by the number of lug holes? A friend of mine told me that 8 holes rim are made in China and Taiwan rims only has 4 holes. Please advise. Cheers!

not to say so ...taiwan,china,japan,italy ..etc oso got multiple hole..but mostly written on rear rim spoke saying MADE IN xxxxx.....BUT EVEN THOUGH MADE IN "JAPAN" CAN be fake japan rims....nowdays many replica 99% coming in market...confusing if not certain.
