Let’s face it, the stigma of being boring and lame will somehow always be associated with hybrids on the road. Unless of course we’re talking about the Porsche GT3 R Hybrid, but then again, that’s a race car.

Hence, the aftermarket tuners have taken it upon themselves to beef up the performance of come hybrids by throwing some of the best performance products at them. Now, the Lexus CT200h has been given some extra bite by the folks over at Fox Marketing.

They have added in an Eaton supercharger into the mix to coax out a reasonable 300 electrifying ponies from the car’s 1.8-liter lump. The supercharger sends the pressurized air to the cylinders via a Climax Racing intake manifold.

Although there isn’t any mention how, Fox Marketing have also beefed up the batteries in the car. Custom suspension components and large Baer brakes complete the handling department. The 13-inch rotors sit snugly behind a set of concaved 20-inch wheels sporting healthy offset and wrapped in 225/30 rubbers up front and 255/30 shoes at the rear. Of course, the rear-biased tyres are just for aesthetics as the CT200h is front-wheel drive.

To complete the package, Fox created a custom wide body kit for the car before slathering everything in a shade of metallic burnt orange. To keep the enormous rubbers under shade, the fender flares of the body kit measure three-inches wide.

The interior is left pretty much untouched save for the use of Yonaka sports seats to keep the driver in place. We have to admit that although it does seem a little overwhelming at first, it is actually a decent effort to spruce up the CT200h, and we’re just suckers for concaved wheels.
