Yup, petrol type fire, needs foam or dry powder types of extinguishers. CO2 type of no use....if buying aerosol type, make sure the extinguisher suits for car fire application....

When there is a fire, you don't think of the mess it will create. Either clean up the mess later, or there is no mess left to clean......hhahhahhahahahaFoam is superior in fighting oil related fire. Powder type is messy to clean up.....
I saw in videos that rally car drivers even resorted to using sand (collect from road side) to kill engine fire, when their fire extinguisher already emptied yet fire still burning strongly. Funny, desperate but also interesting...
