Kedah Speed Festival 2012 (GYMKHANA COMPETITION) is exclusively co-hosted by Speed House Malaysia, with support by Kerajaan Negeri Kedah & Polis Diraja Malaysia -Kedah in conjuction of HARI PENYAYANG 2012 for KARNIVAL AMAL HARI PENYAYANG 2012 Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah, starting from 6 to 8-July-2012 ,mainly sponsored by Hyrax Oil & EAM Oil & Gas Trading Sdn Bhd co sponsored by Red Coq, Getto Vehicle Wrap, Drift House & Beltenick Thailand.

What is Kedah Speed Festival 2012?

It is a "gymkhana style" race which involved 2 selected cars running side by side to test your maneuver skill around a series of cones, 180, 360, 720 degree turns, figure eight turns & other obstacles using extreme acceleration, braking & drifting using the "Twin Battle" style layout.
Event Date:8-JULY-2012 /SUNDAY (9am -5pm) =1 DAY EVENT ONLY
ENTRY FEE: RM50=(one person per registration)
*sharing car is allowed : maximun 2 person only

ALL DRIVER MUST WEAR LONG PANTS & HELMET.
How to qualify?
************
1. Track car is allowed= no restriction on car (Horse) power
2. Slick or semi-slick tires are allowed
3. Seat belts must be in a working condition
4. "HELMET, long pants and shoes are compulsory"
5. Roll cage /semi-roll cage is allowed
6. "Sharing car" is allowed, maximun 2 person per car
7. Fire extinguisher is encouraged.
RACE FORMAT : Super Stage Gymkhana
How to win this round?
++++++++++++++
1. You will be given 2 time runs on "right" side of the twin battle course, and only 1 time will be TAKEN to go into the qualifying round.
2. You need to clock 1 best time to qualify to Top 8.
3. In Top 8, you will be placed according to your time ranking and fight with against your group with a "knock out" style until you reach the final.
4. A chart will be shown on the scoreboard from Top 8-Top 4 until Final.
5. The 1st car to reach the finishing line during the "knock out" stage without making any error on the course will win the round.
Additional R & R:

1. Competition is open to Malaysian citizens with no aged restriction with a valid Class D driving license who is able to drive a manual/auto transmission.
2. Registration fee of RM50 which is non-transferable to other individual must be paid before entering the race track.
3. The winners will be awarded prizes subject to the sponsors as advertised.
4. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
5. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material accompanying the promotion (competition).
6. By entering the promotion (competition), the entrant agrees to the terms of the privacy policy. In addition, Speed House Enterprise may pass your personal information to the promoters and their data processors. However, we always demand that those parties adhere to the same security procedures that we follow ourselves.
7. It is assumed that by entering competitions which, if won, could result in time off work/college, your employer/college is in agreement to time off. When dates are specified they can not be altered. All transportation/accommodation charges (if necessary) are to be bourne by the applicant.
8. By entering the promotion (competition), the winners consent to any publicity generated as a result of the promotion, and use by Speed House Enterprise and its partners at any time.
9. The judges' decision on the race is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
10. Speed House Enterprise will not be responsible for lost through technical fault, assets during the competition, or other damaged caused by you to the premises/race track.
11. All winners must accept the prizes immediately after the race themself or by their respective representative and Speed House Enterprise reserves the right to publicize the winners of this contest in any form of advertising and marketing-related materials.
12. Kedah Speed Festival 2012 is co-hosted by Speed House Enterprise with support of Kerajaan Negeri Kedah and other relevant partners.
13. By entering the competition, organizer has the right to reject any entry that did not fulfilled the criterias.
