he could have just filed a lawsuit against him for banging him
there were dozens of witnesses
instead he ended up dead

The pedestrian that had been brushed, 39 year old Eiji Fujikawa, then tried to stop Umemoto from fleeing by jumping onto the car and grabbing onto the mirror.

That pedestrian wanted to commit suicide. Serves him right.

J's people are famous for getting into trouble. One of his tuner was previously caught for illegal street racing. Cant remember his name.
