any chance you have a cheapo but reasonable monoblock amp for sale?
any monoblock pumping out 300 to 400 RMS. new or used also can, but when i say used, don't la recommend those spoilt, scratched, parts missing or used for 6 years already. budget around RM500 or so.

Will keep an eye out for cheap monoblocks... not many aroudn that price though.

Helix amps are good for the price I get get them for. Full retail on them are a bit too high IMHO. Of coz the best will be the A series competition amps but those are abt 4k+ and are really not cheap.

Bert, Im driving an more than 10 years old Saga Sedan. Im currently using DB 235 Clarioin CD Player, wif a pair of Focal Tweeter and a pair of Alpine 6"9 3 way speaker. Im thinking of adding an amp and woofer..any recomment? 2 channel amp or 4 channel amp will do? my budget is around rm700...

Hi mike,

I would suggest getting a set of component speakers for the front as this will give u better SQ and run it off your HU at the moment. Later on adding a amp and sub will make it sound better.

But, if you want more bass, you need to budget 100-200 for cabling etc so your budget will be approx 550 left for item purchases. Look for used stuff to fit your budget. You can start with a 2 channel amp approx 300 and a subwoofer for the rest. The items I have would be mostly out of your budget at the moment.

Look at the interior section for sale as there are items there that fit your busget.

Thx...im in melaka study now...i just call back the shop in my hometown, penang.. he say tat for better sound, shoud chang the 6'9 to component set....and take one either 10" or 12" sub.... but he say if din change the 6"9 to component...it's still ok...
