What’s the deal?

Honda Malaysia has introduced a range of limited edition models based on the City and Jazz. Dubbed the City X and Jazz X respectively, both models are identified via their X emblems, hinting the exclusivity of the X Edition models.

What’s new?

  • Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
  • Half-Leather Seats with embossed "X" motif
  • Trunk Tray
  • Ultra Seats with 4 different flip configuration (Jazz X only)
  • Class-leading 536-litre Trunk Space (City X only)

No mechanical changes here, however. Both the City X and the Jazz X retain the 1.5-litre SOHC i-VTEC mill. Transmission is a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) unit, developed with Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology which is said to provide smooth acceleration and improved fuel efficiency.

Both cars come with Smart Entry and Push Start Button as standard. To fulfil new in car mobility demands, the City X and Jazz X are equipped with USB Ports and Power Sockets.

Safety wise, the City X and Jazz X will get existing features offered in the normal City and Jazz, namely Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).

The limited edition City X and Jazz X are priced at RM86,100 and RM82,500 respectively, with one month waiting period. 450 units of the City X will be available in Modern Steel Metallic and Dark Ruby Red Pearl while the Jazz X will be limited to 300 units, with Modern Steel Metallic and Carnival Red colours to choose from.

The City X and Jazz X are covered with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage, extended service interval to every 10,000km and 6 free labour services, alternating with pair service until 100,000km. The X Edition models are now available at all 88 Honda authorised showrooms nationwide. For more information, please call 1-800-88-2020 or visit www.honda.com.my.
