Hi there!

I own an nissan murano, 2.5L, 2006 model.

Last week, my car couldn't start. Some mechanics said there were some water ingress and gasket bocor such. Had to overhaul engine and etc.

Before i spend my money, i'd like to get a second opinion from your truated mechanic.

1) hope you don't mind sharing your mechanics number.
2) do you know any good reliable workshop in KL?

Thank you.

I was driving from terengganu to KL. The next day, my Air cond doesnt't work. Sent for repair just some minor leaks on the pipes and the valve was stucked.

A day after that, i couldn't start the car. No signs of overheating or anything.

However, a week before, i did feel some 'knocking' in the engine at low speed. It was ok after speed above 40-50 km/hr. Not sure if this is an issue or not.

Btw, i went to just 1 workahop in serdang.

I now hv the car towed back to my house while looking for a better mechanic.

Nope. New battery. Just changed last month.
When you say it cannot start - there's no cranking at all? Or it cranks but won't ignite? Do you hear the fuel pump engaging when in "ACC"? Need more descriptive answers to do guess work.

feel or hear? if you can feel it then it is beyond serious already.

piston ring worn out, no pressure. piston moves freely inside, thus the knocking can be felt inside the cabin.. Overhaul is the only way then.

just my rm0.02

Check if your headlights are working, radio, room lamp. If it is working then battery should be fine.

I want to cryyyyyy

Sent to a good mechanic. Issue was:-
1) crank sensor rosak. Easy replacement and not so expensive. The car now start.
2) my lube oil looks exactly like that!! The gasket bocor already. No choice but to overhaul.

I want to cry. There goes my savings... He he!
